The saying goes that behind every successful man is a woman. Is that really true? How many women presidents are there in the world? How many heads of corporations are women? Do women really have any say in running the world? What do you say?

This argument stems from the the overwhelming influence wives can have on their husband's decision making. Its a fact that some wives run the show in proxy. Are men secretly afraid of the womenfolk who are, clearly, much more intelligent?

For those who say smoking is not harmful, they have their reasons. People like to smoke when they feel tense - probably due to stress at work or home. Smoking, they claim, helps them feel calm and relaxed. There is claim, also, that smoking helps people concentrate better. Looking at it from an economic point of view, cigarette business is huge. Cigarette companies create jobs and employ a lot of people. The companies in turn, generate lots of revenue for Government through taxation, levies and fines.

Drug Prevalence amongst Young People; is there a way out?

Submitted by Jaysworld on Sat, 2014-11-08 22:03

There is an on-going war all around the world against the use of drugs.  Hard drugs in whatever form, even in its simplest form has become a bad situation to handle. The warning on the packs of cigarettes that says; “Smokers are liable to die young” is supposed to act as deterrent to those who indulge in the act. Unfortunately it never succeeds to scare the smoker.

Twerking is a new (or has it been in existence before now) dance that has suddenly  become the craze of the moment - thanks to Miley Cyrus and "professional twerkers" like Jessica Vanesa. A lot has been said about the dance being dirty and down right immoral due to its butt shaking, sexually provocative nature. What are your thoughts?
